The Chandler Taste Festival

This weekend we went to the Chandlers taste festival, it was 35 restaurants serving food, deserts and booze in downtown Chandler. My Aunt Jessie wont the tickets on a radio contest and she was kind enough to let us have them, we had lots of fun we do not get to go out very often, we were stuffed at the end and the weather that night was just beautiful. Not a very good picture but it's hard when there is no one but yourselves taking them.

Hispanic Women's Conference

I had the wonderful opportunity to go to this conference, SRP paid for it and i had no idea what is was or what to expect. I got to say it was an amazing experience, i have learned a lot in these 2 days listening to the women's stories and the encouraging and inspiring words that came from each one of them. I cannot explain how much this experience has inspired me in many ways for my heath, self improvement, career development, etc. I am very grateful to have been able to attend I'm looking forward to next year. the lunch was great in the pictures below it kinda showes but since it was my phone camera they are blurry but it gives you a good idea. In the picture in Cindy she works at SRP we just meet and i got to say we got along so well, I'm glad to have meet her, hopefully it's the beginning of a nice friendship.

Sean's 8th birthday

My little Sean all grown up turned 8 on September 13th, we had planned a surprise birthday party for him and he was surprised he had no idea, he does not remember when he turned 7 he asked me to throw him a surprise party the following year, so that's what we did, I'm glad the rain went away just in time for the party since we had the slip and slide and all, if not all those kids would have been so bored in the house. Poor Santi spent about 2 hrs blowing up about 100 water baloons and they were gone in 10 min he could not believe all that hard work lasted so little but they all enjoyed every minute.I'm glad he enjoyed his party. Bedroom finally done

It took a long time and alot of work but it looks great, Mike did a great job on the bed, Simon has been sleeping al night since it's al done yeah!!! we really needed that

my birthday

I turned 35 this month wow, we got together and had dinner my camera was dying so we did not take many pics, and shame on me i forgot to get a picture with my honey, he was so sweet cleaned the house, picked up the food and cake and helped with everything, I'm so lucky to have him. I love you honey. On Friday the same week we had a girls passion party i did not take any pics for that one i should have. Not many girls showed up but it was loads of fun.

My pumkin got stiches

My poor pumpkin feel at day care and split his forehead open you could see his bone it was freaky; he gave the doctor a very hard time during the stitching he is very stubborn and never st oped fighting them, they tied him up like a mummy but he kept wiggling and screaming the whole time it was terrible, he got 1 stitch in the inside and 3 on the outside, later that day he was feeling a lot better to be riding his radio flyer all over the kitchen. He is doing a lot better now we hope it does not leave a bad scar.

Santiago turned 16

I can't believe it's been 16 years time flies, he had a party at his dad's house so we just did a lemon merengue pie which is his favorite and his friend spent the night, every birthday since elementary they friends get together they went to school together since the 1st grade and now everyone is scattered in different high schools but for all of the birthdays they get together which i think is great, there is nothing like your childhood friends. Santi got a belt and $40 bucks from us and $100 from his dad, now he needs to get his permit hopefuly soon so maybe next year he can drive himself to school and i can sleep in.

Ryan' Birthday

My brother turned 37 we went to Texas roadhouse, it was a pain to plan for everyone to be able to make the same day but we made it, he hates taking pictures so he only posed for one with his girlfriend Shawna and her daughter Taylor, he refused to sit on the saddle for the birthday so the kids had fun in it, we cannot get Simon to stop with his special smile all his pics seam the same haha.

Fathers day

On fathers day we were lucky Mike got the day off, we went to visit Amy, Mike, Jace and Patann who at the time was just a few days old we grilled, ate and hung out for a while, i had bought some brownies from safeway and let me tell you they were so so so good, i stuffed my face with them, i got to go get more one of these days.

Wedding update

We are very sad to let you all know that we have been forced to make the tough decision to move the wedding yet again, we are bummed but we think it's for the best, this is the final date i promise no more changing this is the 5th and final time haha i feel like Michael Bolton and Nicolette Sheridan that have been engaged for ever we wanted 3/13 but it unfortunately it was unavailable we got all the vendors switch to the 20th no problem, so that is good, my poor dress is been hanging in the closet for almost a year already but oh well as soon as it still fits I'm good. So mark you calenders, see you then

Kitchen

I finally got to paint something "RED" i have been thinking which wall to paint for a while, to not make it to much since my honey does not like it, but he is so sweet he knows i want it so he let me do it. I think it looks pretty good, I'm very happy

Mothers Day!

On mothers day my honey was working, he had off the day before so we went to the movies it was great we do not get to go out much without the kids. Mike cleaned the whole house for me as a present i loved it, he is always so thoughtful. on mothers day the kids helped me wash the car it needed it really bad, they had more fun playing with the hose than anything else but the car is clean that's all that matters, i can see out the windows now ha ha.
In the evening i cooked and my mom and brothers came over to hangout for a while it was fun my brothers are funny the nasty things they come up with are so funny.

Science Fair 2009

In may at Sean's school they have a science fair, and i said last year science fair he is in kindergarten, he was so excited about the project we had to thinkk of something simple but cool so last year we worked hard and won 1st place. So this year Sean was excited also, i do not like to do those things they are a pain!! but again since it's 1st grade only we had to come up with something simple but good, this year was on what surface does the car go further and we tested a hotwheel on different surfaces and did the project i had Sean do alot of the work but did some to. And again we won 1st place!! it's my 1st place also since i did alot of the work. Sean is so happy.

Espee Park

Today i took the kids to the park so they can get their wiggles out and maybe take it easy at the house so i don't go crazy, it was fun i had more exerzise than i have had in a long time, maybe we will have Sean next birthday party here it's really nice.
